Spooky Oreo Blondies

The second I spot Halloween Oreos on the grocery store shelves, I know spooky baking season has officially begun. I don't know what it is about seasonal treats, but somehow they make baking even more fun. Maybe it's the bright orange filling, maybe it's the excuse to buy way too many Oreos...either way, I'm not complaining.

These Spooky Oreo Blondies combine everything I love about a classic blondie with one of my favorite Halloween cookies. They're buttery, soft, and chewy with creamy white chocolate chips and crunchy pieces of Halloween Orange Creme Oreos in every bite. They're festive without being complicated, which makes them perfect whether you're baking for a Halloween party or just because it's October and you're embracing every cozy, spooky moment.

Fair warning: if you leave these on the counter, they tend to disappear faster than a ghost on Halloween night.

What Makes These Blondies So Good?

These blondies are all about texture. Crushed Oreos mixed into the batter add little bursts of chocolate cookie throughout, while the larger Oreo pieces baked on top become slightly crisp and make every slice look bakery-worthy.

The white chocolate chips balance the chocolate cookies with a creamy sweetness, and the buttery blondie base ties everything together. Best of all, they're easy enough to whip up on a weeknight but festive enough to bring to any Halloween celebration.

Tips for Perfect Blondies

Don't Overmix

Once you add the flour, gently fold everything together until just combined. This helps keep the blondies soft and chewy.

Save Some Oreos for the Top

Using larger Oreo pieces on top isn't just for looks, it adds a little extra crunch and makes the finished blondies look extra festive.

Let Them Cool Before Slicing

I know it's tempting to grab a warm corner piece (trust me, I've been there), but letting the blondies cool helps them set and makes cleaner slices.

Stock Up While You Can

Halloween Oreos are only around for a short time, so if you love this recipe as much as I do, it might be worth grabbing an extra package before they're gone for the season!

Storage

Store the blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.

For longer storage, freeze individual bars for up to 3 months. Just thaw at room temperature whenever you're ready for a spooky sweet treat.
